2014 brings the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. Considered at the time to be the war to end all wars, it resulted in such a loss of life that War Memorials sprung up all over the country in Remembrance of those local lads and men who did not come home.
Please take time to reflect upon the purpose of this Memorial.
Parking available on roadside lay-by adjacent to memorial or in church car park. As always, take care on busy roadways particularly with children and dogs.
