Welcome to Yellowwellys Yomp, a simple circuit of 25 geocaches. The route is just under 3 ½ miles long, along tracks. There are three other caches on route , if you haven’t already got them, and another not too far away, but that will extend your route. There is also a nearby mystery to be solved.
Theo (2009-11) was a English Springer Spaniel. He served as a bomb detection dog for the British Army in Afghanistan. His handler, Lance Corporal Liam Tasker was killed in March 2011, and Theo died of a seizure several hours later, some believe of a broken heart.
Theo was awarded the Dickin Medal, also known as the animals Victoria Cross, posthumously in 2012.
