The boys and I had been placing caches for a couple of hours when I noticed the tire pressure indicator light flash. RQ2K looked out the window and confirmed what I felt: flat tire. We hooked it up to the portable air compressor to inflate the tire and see if it just needed some air. Once we got it up to pressure, we could hear the air hissing from the puncture wound. There wouldn't be any more caching for us that day.
I lowered the spare while RQ2K and TacoMan began working on jacking up the Cache Interceptor and removing lug nuts.
They knew all about how to change the tire thanks to an automobile class they participated in last year. Other than observing for safety, I didn't have to do anything. They had it all under control.
So, while my young men were changing the tire, I hid this cache.
