Geocache Description:

DID YOU SEE THAT DOGTOWN? It can be quite a laugh. Anyway, this is #3 in a series of 15, all (or almost all) set near stumps.  Each is either an Rx bottle wrapped in tape, or an infant formula bottle - somewhat larger - also in tape.

I went out again today on the trail of my arch-nemesis , GC49EBR (AZ Views – Ponderosa), one I’d already hunted for three times with no success. And today was no different. To ensure a fresh view of things, I snuck out along Babbitt Rd, walked under I-40, around the pond and took the trailhead from and a certain detour from there. I walked. One could do much of this on mountain bike, but there is one spot (much later in this series) where you may have to walk the bike about .22 miles through level forest.

- I parked at N 35 11.330 W 111 37.845

Every time I hike in this area, I find myself crossing a labyrinth of trails with no map guidance and no idea where they lead. Most head toward Lake Elaine or various points along Old Walnut Canyon Rd. In this series, there are two areas where your GPS will lead you across or around from one trail to another.
