Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at a Historial Marker - Sandtown Trail.

Sandtown Trail = This road was originally the Sandtown Trail traveled by several tribes of Creek Indians.  It connected Sandtown on the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta, GA with another Sandtown in Tallapoosa Co., AL.  Later became Old Alabama Rd over which early white settlers traveled.  It was at the one time a stage coach route through this section.

Parking = You will need to park across the street at in Crossroads Resturant parking lot.  Most of the time it is not busy.

I do not recommend this cahce for children, since it so close to the road.

You will need a special tool to remove and another one to replace log, if you do not have the tools, just be honest and don't worry about logging it.
