Geocache Description:



In this neighborhood there have been Asia-inspired shops and restaurants at least since the 80's. This is the closest a Chinatown we have in Stockholm and you will find a concentration of Asian food stores and Asian restaurants.

This is one end of Stockholm Chinatown, walk north on Sveavägen’s left side and you will pass many Asian restaurants, then turn into Tegnergatan and follow Luntmakargatan further north to Odengatan. This is all of Stockholm Chinatown, see the map below.

Stockholm Chinatown

The Chinatown Binondo, Manila, founded in 1594, is the oldest Chinatown in the world. The largest outside Asian is New York's Chinatown established in 1940. Other well-known Chinatown is located in Bangkok, London, San Francisco, Singapore, Vancouver, Melbourne and Paris.
