A gentle stroll from the back of St. Nicholas Church in Godstone we found an interesting natural feature that was a great spot for our first geocache. Accessible for children but there is a pond on the route and you need to be careful not to catch your eyes on branchs on getting close to the cache site. Since placing the site has become overgrown with brambles so we have moved it off the ground, but at the same coordinates. You do not need to go over the fence line. Good luck!
Slightly off the main footpath this small cache is placed in the nearby woodland. The footpath is popular in good weather so beware muggles and puggles! Parking is available in the village of Godstone by the Village Green or there are a few on street spaces by St. Nicholas's Church. Congratulations to Dr Evil and Mr Matto for being FTF. I am thrilled that Dr Evil was one of the FTF as we love his local cache's!
