Geocache Description:

The cache is located near one of the Pill Boxes built to protect RAF Duxford during WWII. This is along a bridlepath which connects Whittlesford to Thriplow.  The route is popular with dog walkers and cyclists as well as riders and tractors.  Walking south west from Whittlesford you should spot four bunkers or pill boxes spread out along the walk (plus the remains of at least one more structure).  Only two of them are accessible from the track.

The cache is located near a popular spot for plane spotters to watch the Duxford Air Shows, as it is situated about a kilometre and a half from the end of the runway.  During good weather it is not unusual to see Spitfires, P38s or other historic planes from the IWM collection circling overhead. During summer weekends two 1930s Tiger Moths and a Dragon Rapide can also be seen giving pleasure flights.

The bridlepath is a dirt track which is easily passable from the south west (Whittlesford) all year around passing over the M11 on route.  Travelling north east from Thriplow the track can be pretty muddy so Wellington boots are advised!

The cache is located close to what I believe is a modified Type 26 Pill Box, but not in or on it.  You do not need to go inside the Pill Box and I would advise against this.  You should also keep off the local farmers fields, you do not need to cross these.
