Geocache Description:

NO ACCESS FROM A38. The Forest Friends series of 4 caches takes you on a tour of woodland near Little Eaton. A round trip walk of a little over 2 ½ miles. All the containers have a woodland theme. Please be aware that Moor Lane is a no through road, although it is shown as a route on most Sat Nav’s THIS IS NOT THE CASE. See Forest Friends 02 for a story about one poor soul who came a cropper through not heeding this advice!

This cache is a looked after by a friendly little creature – see if you can see her in her little house! The circular walk from the parking place shown for Forest Friends 01 took me a total 1.5 hours to do when setting the caches. It is about 7 minutes walk from the parking place to get to this first cache. Please re-hide so that the caches so they can not be directly seen, but not so well that the next cacher won’t be able to find them!
