Geocache Description:

NOTE: When visiting site, go to coordinates. Face the barb wire fence. Notice the cedar tree at your 11:00 position roughly 1.5 meters and just on opposite side of barb wire fence. Reach over barb wire fence and search far side of cedar tree.

"Skull & crossbones" icon being used because there is barb wire intermixed with all that tree debris, as well as, lots of potential tripping hazards - so all you "icon experts" hush up.

Noticed this cemetery's name on the groundspeak google map and knew I just had to place a cache here - just liked the name!!

Easiest route that I found to get to this cemetery, after becoming sort of "confused" on these back roads, is to travel north/south on KS Hwy 63 between the towns of Havensville/Corning, KS.

Just north of the Nemaha County line, KS Hwy 63 will intersect with 4th Road. At this intersection, there will be a brown brick house on SW corner and a nice sign pointing the way to cemetery on NW corner. Turn west onto 4th Road.

4th Road is a somewhat gravel/dirt road that may pose an adventure during inclement weather. Travel roughly 2 miles until reach the cemetery. Cemetery will be on west side of road.

Raised difficulty rating just a bit for safety considerations for, rather err on the side of safety. May have to negotiate thorns and ground hugging vines and hidden wood on ground, so not advisable wearing flip-flops and/or shorts, but that is up to you, the wilely geocaching adventurer that you are!!!

Cattle in area so be aware. You will be searching for something small.

Remember that this is a cemetery and please follow any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we all have read on other page write-ups concerning these locations.

UPDATE: June 4, 2016 - Due to critter activity at original coordinates, decided to find a new location for cache. Updated coordinates as well.

UPDATE: March 18, 2018 - Lots of tree trimming in area, so repositioned container just in case the tree it was on joins the rest of its friends.
