"Birdie" is the term for scoring 1-under par on any individual golf hole.
Par, remember, is the expected number of strokes it should take an expert golfer.
However this fact is pretty irrelevant. All you need to do is stay low to keep out of view of the golfers beyond.
The circular walk from the parking spot shown for Forest Friends 01 took me 1.5 hours to do when setting the caches. This cache is less than 5 minutes walk from Forest Friends 03.
Find me, and you will be at the far point of my little stroll. It’s just about a mile from here back to the car parking spot.
To find your way back follow your way through the trees keeping the golf course and the wall on your left (no need to cross wall). After 400 metres, and a kink left, you will meet up with a footpath which gradually descends past a couple of green water board steel domes. This leads down to where the end of Moor Lane becomes a track. Back under the A38 will take you back past Forest Friends 01 and down towards Little Eaton.
Please re-hide so that the caches so they can not be directly seen, but not so well that the next cacher won’t be able to find them!
