The cache is a fairly sturdy snap tight plastic box with logbook and pencil. It is big enough for travel bugs and small toys.
The area is popular with families, dog walkers and amateur footballers but the cache itself is away from the main park area.
This a quiet area of quiet a busy housing estate. If you are visiting you will find a really good kids playground, a skatepark and a basketball court nearby. Parking is easy nearby and it is a short walk down the hill into Cowes town centre from here.
On the first saturday afternoon (2-4pm) of every month and Wednesday afternoon (2-4pm) in school holidays, the Isle of Wight Model Engineering Society open their doors to the public. This is very near to the cache. They have a big size model train track, with working steam engines that provide a ride around the edge of their garden. They also sell tea and cakes; Yum!
Enjoy the cache, if you have a small toy to swap into the cache then this would be great. Leave your calling cards as well.
