The route through the 10 caches is intended to be family friendly with mostly easy walking along a well surfaced towpath, though a couple of caches are a few metres off the main path. Hopefully it'll give you a good morning / afternoon stroll on a nice day. The route is alongside the canal though, with a few locks on the way, so be careful with little ones. You can either start in Woking (plenty of parking and easy train access) and do them in order, or park at St John's Lye in St John's village and go in reverse order. There are usually a lot of muggles around on the towpath, so you'll need to be discreet. This is a little off the beaten path; hopefully it's not too muddy and prickly.
If you're in need of a little smackerel of something by now, there's a shop and cafe in the centre of St. John's village - leave the towpath at the Kiln Bridge and head South-East about 50 yards along St John's Road.
This one is a more unusual type of cache.
