Geocache Description:

To celebrate reaching 700 caches this week, we thought it only right to place a few more of our own.

They have been placed in the style of Bike or Hike and many other power trails, with as many caches within the shortest possible distance.

We chose this path as it is an area Mr and Mrs C spent a lot of time around in our younger days.

The path can get muddy but is suitable for buggies and all but one cache are placed close to the path. There are a set of stairs to navigate at one point but there is short diversion for buggie users and cyclists.

This is placed as close as possible to one of the best places to feed the ducks or simply take in the views at Walton lock.

If you look past the metal fences you will still be able to see the remains of the lock that connected the Latchford Runcorn Canal to the Manchester Ship Canal.

Please be careful around the water with little ones the it is very deep here!
