This area was under water during what residents remember as one of the Loup River Floods. In March of that Spring, huge chunks of ice piled up against the bridge causing the river itself to flow out of its banks nearly to the Platte River just south of this location. Area homes and businesses were washed away...but it's back and booming!
This is a small-to-medium size container with items for trade. There is a little area for parking just off the hiway from which you can begin your search. This road leads to the Izaak Walton Cabin. Prior to the earlier-mentioned flood, this road was actually a ramp to join highway 81 south.
