Geocache Description:

Fates Warning

This cache is not at the registered coordinates

For å finne denne cachen må du løse oppgaven under.

----------------------------------

As my music always have been into heavy metal, it was very clear that my first series of mysterycaches had to be devoted to some of the bands I have listened to through the years. As for the letter F, I am back to the progressive metal and the band Fates Warning from Connecticut, USA.

Fates Warning was formed in 1982, and showed early that they are good musicians that made great music in the genre progressive metal. They are together with Crimson Glory, Queensryche and Dream Theater the four bands that formed this genre. Fates Warning started as a band playing more thrashmetal than the other three bands, making them sound more harder. But you will find an incredible amount of great playing and good melodies in their songs.

The band have had many line-ups through the time, but one man have been in the band all the time; guitarplayer Jim Matheos. He writes a lot of the music for the band.

To find this cache, you will have to solve the task below:

For the North:

Spine is severed, blood runs cold, confess the deepest of sin

Healing cripples, gives sight to the blind

Queen of the underworld, she'll have us all

Hypnotized, rhythmic pendulum synchronized

These thoughts cut deep

For the East:

Before the dawn of history

In the timeless truth of the written word

Fifty two falling stars are burning up the sky

Toward the autumn years

Lonely lives learn to live on
