With the arrival of spring and longer days, this old jail bird was reminiscing about all the springs spent as a guest at correctional facilities. The Director of the halfway house was out for the day, so I hot-wired the van and took a drive through the countryside. I placed caches fashioned from junk I found on the floor of the van at locations that reminded me of my favorite prisons. These are all P&G’s with convenient parking, though not all are simple to find.
This location reminded me of time in the yard “up the river” at Sing Sing. Playing ball and working out. Things look so peaceful, but it is a trap if you are not vigilant.
You don’t need to enter the park. Bring a pen.
