This is a nice walk through conservation land in Leominster. The trails are well marked.
The cache is a medium Lock and Lock. For the first 1/2 of the trip the terrain is pretty easy. After waypoint 2, the climbing begins. It is not nearly as high as our other caches on the peaks of the trail. It is about 1 1/2 miles one way if you park at Sholan farms. If you Park on Upper North Row Road, you save about 1/4 mile each way but miss out on some of the more scenic part of the hike. If you start at Parking 2, you do not have to go to waypoint 1. You will get to waypoint 2 first. There are plenty of stone walls and many erratics along the way. The water you go by is part of the drinking water system for the city of Leominster. Please observe the rules.
