The RNZAF has had a total of 335 DH82A Tiger Moths since 1938. The roles of the aircraft were primarily training and communication. It has a top speed of 94 knots.
The last remaining RNZAF is operated by Historic Flight. The aircraft is a very distinct sight around Ohakea as it is the last biplane in the RNZAF’s inventory.
