Geocache Description:

Although this aircraft is RNZAF owned it fits best here as the third and final in our “Leased Aircraft of RNZAF Base Ohakea” series.

Cache is small so BYOP.

In 2014 the RNZAF will start operating its 11 Beechcraft T-6C Texan II as its primary training aircraft. The aircraft will see the re-raising of 14 Squadron and will be painted gloss black.

The Texan II is operated by seven other countries.
