Printing in Coupar Angus
As far as we know there were 2 printers in Coupar Angus.
Culross the Printers-sadly it closed down in 2013. It was open from 1835 until 2013.
Culross was the biggest printers in Coupar Angus.
The company grew and moved to Queen St.
1938- There was a fire and moved across the road near the steeple.
Culross the printers was owned by Mr Benzies.
In our school we have a trophy named the Benzie Quaich. The trophy is still here today.
Mr Frank Benzie was a MBA senior.
The other printer was called Thomas L Brown. It closed down a long time ago.
Sadly there are no longer any active presses in the town, but we have a good example of a Victorian style printing press at Press Here
