NORGESBOKSEN-50 CACHER - STAVANGER



This is NOT a park-and-grab! Parking in the road can be dangerous as it is a very busy road. Please park at the stated coordinates and walk the last 200 meters!

There is now an official Norgesboksen coin. If you are interested, send an email to coin@norgesboksen.com. In order to "qualify" to purchase a coin you must have found at least 3 of the Norgesboksen caches. Coins are 100kr plus shipping. The coin looks like this:

NORGESBOKSEN-50 CACHER

er en serie cacher som er utplassert i femti av norges byer/tettsteder. Cachene er spredt over hele landet fra sør til nord, fra øst til vest. Dette er ingen challengecache, men det vil likevel bli utstedt diplom til de som logger alle cachene. Det vil også deles ut landsdelsbevis når man har logget alle byene i en landsdel.

De fem landsdelene følger vanlig norsk oppdeling:
Nord-Norge (Finnmark, Troms og Nordland);
Trøndelag (Nord- og Sør-Trøndelag);
Vestlandet (Hordaland, Møre og Romsdal, Rogaland og Sogn og Fjordane);
Østlandet (Akershus, Buskerud, Hedmark, Oppland, Oslo, Telemark, Vestfold og Østfold);
Sørlandet (Aust-Agder og Vest-Agder).

Alle cachene har egne eiere, som også er kontaktperson ang spørsmål i forbindelse med denne serien i sitt område. Når du ønsker å gjøre krav om et diplom for å ha fullført enten en landsdel, eller tatt alle 50 cachene, sender du beskjed til kjell.lovik@ntebb.no. Det vil så bli hentet inn kontrollinformasjon fra de respektive cache-eierne før vi godkjenner og utsteder diplom.

NORGESBOKSEN-50 CACHER

is a series of caches placed in fifty of Norway’s towns and cities. The caches are spread throughout the whole country from north to south, from east to west. This is not a challenge cache, but anyone who finds all fifty caches will earn a diploma. You can also earn a diploma by finding all caches in one part of the country.

The division of parts follows the usual Norwegian division:
Nord-Norge (Finnmark, Troms and Nordland);
Trøndelag (Nord- and Sør-Trøndelag);
Vestlandet (Hordaland, Møre og Romsdal, Rogaland and Sogn og Fjordane);
Østlandet (Akershus, Buskerud, Hedmark, Oppland, Oslo, Telemark, Vestfold and Østfold);
and Sørlandet (Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder).

All caches have individual owners, who also serve as a point of contact regarding questions about the series of caches in their area. If you wish to claim a diploma for completing either a part of the country, or all fifty caches, please contact kjell.lovik@ntebb.no. The claim to the diploma will be controlled by contacting the pertinent cache owners before approval and a diploma will be sent.

ist eine Serie von Caches, die in fünfzig verschiedenen norwegischen Städten versteckt sind. Die Caches sind durch das ganze Land verteilt, von Nord bis Süd, von Ost bis West. Es handelt sich hier von keinem Challenge Cache, aber jemand, der alle fünfzig Caches findet, erhält ein Diplom. Man kann auch ein Diplom verdienen, wenn man alle Caches in einem Teil des Landes findet.

Die Abteilung des Landes folgt der gewöhnlichen norwegischen Abteilung:
Nord-Norge (Finnmark, Troms und Nordland);
Trøndelag (Nord- und Sør-Trøndelag);
Vestlandet (Hordaland, Møre og Romsdal, Rogaland und Sogn og Fjordane);
Østlandet (Akershus, Buskerud, Hedmark, Oppland, Oslo, Telemark, Vestfold und Østfold);
und Sørlandet (Aust-Agder und Vest-Agder).

Alle Caches haben individuelle Cachebesitzer, die auch als Kontaktpersonen für Fragen über die Cacheserie in ihrem Bereich dienen. Wenn jemand ein Diplom fordern möchte, entweder für die Region oder für die gesamten fünfzig Caches, kontakten Sie bitte kjell.lovik@ntebb.no. Der Anspruch wird dann durch Kontakt mit dem einzelnen Cachebesitzer überprüft. Nach der Genehmigung wird dann das Diplom geschickt.

Stavanger is Norway's third largest city, and lies on the south-west coast of the country. The official date for the founding of the city has been counted as 1125, the year in which the cathedral was completed. The city center is known for the Old Town, while nearby tourist attractions are Pulpit Rock, Kjeragbolten and the Three Swords monument, which commemorate the Battle of Hafrsfjord of 872, after which the victor, Harald the Fairhair, collected the country as one united nation. Stavanger is perhaps most well-known internationally for its importance in the oil sector, which has contributed to its wealth. This, combined with the largest NATO base in Northern Europe, has led to a diverse and international populace, which is often the host to visitors from around the world, who come in on cruise ships throughout the summer.
