Marsh Mosh #08 [PP11] Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

theUnconfirmed: Today was the farewell walk for the Marsh Mosh. I was joined by my good mates Moonstone and Matt_Sage on a wonderful sunny day for a fabulous walk around the outer loop to collect the pots and containers. After breakfast at the cafe in Old Romney we left a supply car there in the village and drove over to the top of the series to begin our walk at the Woolpack Pub. It was a fabulous day out. No finds to claim for the score board on this occasion, but it was great to get back out on the marsh again and enjoy the trails I love so much. Thanks again to all those who have also ventured along these remote pathways to hunt for my tupperware!

We increased our pace here momentarily as the farmer was spraying his field and the air was pretty thick was chemicals. We didn't want to hang around too long and breath too much of it in. Grabbed this cache in quick time and moved on.

Geocache Description:

For full description of the Marsh Mosh trails please see #1: http://coord.info/GC50KKF - The icons apply to all caches.

From #7 follow the road west (signed Brookland / Rye) collecting the 'Horse Bones Farm' cache on the way past. The road bears north as you pass the farm. You will travel under the power lines. Just after you cross the bridge over water channel you need to enter the field through the gates on the left (don't forget to find the 'Midley Wall' cache before you do!). Once in the field follow the waterway to the cache.

From #9 follow the track to the water channel, turn left and continue to the GZ.
