The cemetery is now closed for new burials.
The Cemetery offers an interesting historical journey, with many of Levin’s early settlers and notable figures buried in the cemetery.
Entry to the Old Levin Cemetery is from:
- Either Mako Mako or Tiro Tiro Road, Levin.
- Signposted off State Highway 1 (Oxford Street).
Please treat the cemetery with the respect that it deserves. There is no need to interfere with any of the graves or plaques to find this cache.
Cache is a 200ml sistema container that has a log book.
There maybe enough room for small swaps
Please log trackable, coins etc if you retrieve or drop off
Please bring a writing stick with you, although there is a pen provided when placed
You must sign the log book for each individual cacher. Finds logged not corresponding with the logbook will be (Removed). Please make sure cache is well covered before you leave.
