Beyond the remains of the old motte and bailey at the edge of the gorge sits the Wolf of Wolfscastle, and somewhere on the Wolf is a geocache.
To find this cache requires a moderate rock climbing ability (and help from another person). From the highest point on the Wolf, turn to face the flag at the edge of the gorge. The cache is located on the next tall rocky outcrop inline with the flag. Not recommended for geokids. Warning (This requires nerves of steel, a grip of iron and a head for heights- if you have none of these- you will get wobbly knees and possibly fall off..)
