How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This challenge is based on finding unloved lonely caches that haven't been found for some time, I spotted an Australian cache with the same theme and thought this would be perfect for a Hertfordshire Challenge Cache.

To complete this challenge, you have to find a number of "physical "caches which have not been logged on geocaching.com for 183 days. Your task is to find enough caches, so that the total of the "unlove" adds up to fifteen years. This is how it works:

Track down caches which haven't been found for at least 183 days (approximately 6 months).
You may count FTF's.
No archived caches unless they have been archived and then unarchived for some reason.
You require a total of 5479 days.

Please post a list of your qualifying caches within your log showing

  •  The name of  each of the qualifying caches
  • Date each cache was previously found
  • Your find date and days between the finds for said cache
  • A link to each qualifying cache

You may not find your own caches or caches that you have previously found. You may not count your own throw downs for missing caches. This cache does not count towards the "love".
