Freddy Cougar and Crispi Pepper have been friends for a very long time and they share many things in common, including a love of Fleetwood Mac's music. This is NO lie! This cache was inspired by Dragonfly's "Tell Me Lies" cache GC2XE6T which FC enjoyed doing in early 2014. FC's log for that cache mentioned the music of Fleetwood Mac and as such, this is the perfect opportunity to keep the lies alive.
One of our favorite Fleetwood Mac songs is LITTLE LIES.....'tell me lies tell me sweet little lies....tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies...oh, no, no you can't disguise....you can't disguise, no you can't disguise, tell me lies...." The beautiful melody and harmonies in this song explain the popularity of what may seem like simplistic lyrics.
How often do we tell little white lies? And why? To not hurt people's feelings? To avoid conflict? To make ourselves or others feel better by embellishing the truth a bit?
