On My Honor II Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

antagonyst: The cache has come up missing again. Muggling seems to be a problem in this area so instead of replacing the cache, I decided it was time to simply give up on the location. Sorry guys.

Scouting has been a part of Odessa Missouri for over 75 years. Troop 286 was founded in 1935, and moved this location sometime in the 1950s, where it still meets today. This cache not only acknowledges the history of Troop 286, but the history of Scouting in Odessa Missouri.

The original “On My Honor” was lost twice when the cache became disconnected from its tether and fell into the foundation under the Scout House.  I have taken longer than I wanted to work out a replacement of the cache, coming to the conclusion that the cache needed to be moved to a different location on the property.  This Cache replaces the original (GC2TXZ0) so that those who have found this cache before can get credit for coming back and finding the new location.

A Scout is Friendly - A Scout is a friend to all.  He is a brother to other Scouts.  He seeks to understand others.  He respects those with ideas and customs other than his own.

There is parking on the property, as well as across the street.

This is in a residential neighborhood, doing this cache later in the evening may draw unwanted attention.  Please be respectful of the hours you visit this cache.

The Container is a small green metal bottle approximately 2.5 inches tall and 1 inch in diameter.  Bring your own Pen or Pencil.  Log only.  Please put this cache back the way you found it.
