Once this cache was hidden the journey home became more like a journey through The Twilight Zone. The odd cast of characters included a pair of lost Forest Service guys, an attractive young lady firefighter with no sense of geography, a huuuuuuge doopy and a malaria ravaged, bare chested, broken legged runner in chinos- who likes his knives SHARP!
All ultimately conspiring to send us 30 miles out of our way in a truly baffling series of coincidences.
