Geocache Description:

The cache is at the given co-ordinates but don't go racing out to find it. To qualify you must have found at least 1 cache for every different difficulty / terrain combination (available on your profile).

To celebrate completing our own d/t grid, a challenge we've thoroughly enjoyed. We hope that in your quest to complete your own d/t grid you will have as much fun as us.

To qualify for this cache you must have completed your own d/t grid, that's 81 caches. It can take you as long as you like, there is no time limit. You can see your d/t rating on your profile under statistics. Any finders who have not met the challenge will be asked to change their find to a note or have their log deleted. This cache cannot count as your 5/2 find.

Whilst placing this cache Pinga said "I've found a fossil". Shortly afterwards Roo said "I've found one as well.". Then Skippy found one and so did Pingu smiley. We all had found brachipods and Skippy found a bivalve fossil as well. How do we know what we had found? Well we've done some geology in our time but more than that, we've done some earthcaches and the kids have learnt a lot from those and can now identify these fossils quite independently. This is one of many things we've enjoyed through caching and in completing our d/t grid, you learn new things,go to places that you wouldn't otherwise go to and why we decided to place a d/t challenge cache.
