This ammo can is placed for a good geocaching friend to honor his 2000th find. Dave likes all things Penn State so naturally the ammo can has a definite Nittany Lion theme.
The best way to reach this cache is to park at the listed parking coords, but if you have waterproof boots or the season is unusually dry and you need to get the caches along that trail, go for the alternate parking. The trails here are pretty good for biking, but don't look for a pristine path. This is game lands, not rail trails. I got surprising good cell phone coverage (Verizon) even way out here, so don't let that put you off from going.The SGL's are dog-friendly, so bring Fido when you go.
