Geocache Description:

This cache is in a restful location in North Ogden, Utah.  It is easily accessible,but not by wheelchair.  Most residents in this area will hold their position and be no trouble.  Muggles are rare.  Cache contains a log book, pencil, and some small items.  There is room for exchange of small items.  Included is a Smokey Bear Key Ring for the FTF.


Cliff Miller was a superior civil engineer whose Forest Service career took him into many locations and many assignments including Alaska, California, Montana, Idaho and the Washington Office.  He was Regional Engineer for the Northern Region, stationed in Missoula, Montana, and Regional Engineer for the Intermountain Region, stationed in Ogden, Utah.  Those two assignments placed him in charge of all Forest Service engineering programs and projects in Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Western Wyoming, and a chunk of Eastern California.  Cliff died in 2012.  This geocache is placed as a memorial to his many accomplishments and his friendly attitude toward everyone he met. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND QUIET IN THIS SPECIAL ENVIRONMENT WHERE PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED BY THE MANAGER FOR PLACEMENT OF THIS GEOCACHE.
