Purvynė – kaimas Antalieptės seniūnijoje, 3 km į rytus nuo Antalieptės. Pietine kaimo dalimi prateka Stromelė. Šiaurinėje pusėje ribojosi su 1970 melioracijos sunaikintu Berniškių kaimu, kuriame gimė ir augo rašytojas kraštotyrininkas Vytautas Indrašius.
Purvynė - the village near Antalieptė. Southern part of the country passes river Stromelė. On the north side was bordered with desolate village Berniškės, where was born and raised writer and ethnographer Vytautas Indrašius.
