This cache is placed to recognize the infamous Stede Bonnet, known as "The Gentleman Pirate." An easy find in a wonderful spot (most of us are vacationing here, so let's not work too hard).
Bonnet's Booty is "buried" (no, not really) near a place where you can find out more about pirates and all things maritime.
Please be discreet when seeking and plundering the cache — high muggle activity and pirates aplenty. While the area is available 24/7, we'd suggest a daylight search so you don't scare the local swabbies, scalawags and scabrous dogs.
Container is a medium ammo can. Please be sure to replace the cache securely after your find. First-to-find honors include a certificate and some pirate-pleasing booty (both replica and real). Initial swag includes reproduction doubloons/pieces of eight and other treasures, both nautical and not.
