George Orwell was born Eric Arthur Blair in Motihari (British India) in 1903. He was a author of numerous books and essays but mostly remembered for his novels Animal Farm & 1984. He died in London in 1950 at the age of 46, 1 year after having his most famous novel published. He never knew how much of a impact it went on to have globally.
