Practice makes Perfect Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ruco16: Sadly it is time to retire all my caches. I am now the full time carer for my wife with dementia. We spent a good few years caching together from 2014 until lockdown in 2020.

Geocache Description:

Our first hide. Sadly our first hiding place has been removed (May 2016). Moved a few meters to another hidey hole.

Recently a small arboretum of native trees has been planted.  2000 years ago the Romans marched past here. 4000 years ago there were settlements in the area. This cache is located near to where a number of Bronze Age cists were relocated after being found at the site of the West Water reservoir. The cache is not in a cist.
