Geocache Description:

A bit of a walk to get to this one, but lovely river views.

The cache is situated by the river wall, opposite the Brick Dock racing buoy of the nearby Yacht Club. It is named for the ancient pier, from which bricks were transported from the works on the hill above. The view upriver towards Iken and Snape is worth the walk and in summer there are often small sailing boats on the river. The cache can be approached across fields, on a FP starting by the tennis courts, or along the river wall from the car park at the south end of town. Neither is suitable for buggies and as there is often livestock in the fields, dogs should be kept under control.
