Geocache Description:

Located near Moreau State Park right off Spier Falls Rd. There is a decent elevation gain, so expect to be ascending for most of the way. The cache is a small ammo container located at an elevation of about 830 feet.

Parking for this cache can be found at N43 14.999 W73 44.314, which is a boat launch area. You can pick up a quad trail (which is old and closed to ATV's) about 730 feet east of the parking area off Spier Falls Rd. Check out this web address for a topographic map of the area, including locations of view points. The hike will be about 2 miles round trip to the cache and back to the parking area. I actually rode my mountain bike (Actually, pushed it up and rode it down) or you can hike it. The cache is located near a beautiful overlook area that is worth the hike, along with the views of the Adirondacks from other view points.
