As fontes na Serra do Pisco são um denominador comum. Utilizadas por pastores, gado e agricultores, sempre tiveram uma importância crucial. A saída desta fonte, situada numa pequena ladeira junto a um caminho, tem a particularidade de ser construída em granito, o que lhe confere um aspeto peculiar. Ao mesmo tempo, dela brota uma água muito fresca e límpida.
Atrás, ergue-se a Serra do Pisco e, mais acima, o chamado “Talefe Pequeno”, um marco geodésico de terceira ordem. À frente, vê-se parte da aldeia de Carapito, com os terrenos da Regada em primeiro plano.
Em agosto de 2025, um incêndio consumiu as florestas da Serra do Pisco e, por isso, a paisagem tornou-se menos interessante. No entanto, continua a valer a pena a visita.
A Cache
É composta por um contentor relativamente pequeno, contendo o material habitual: logbook, caneta e a stash note explicativa do geocaching.
O Percurso
É possível aceder ao local a partir de duas direções opostas: a primeira desde o Parque da Lameira da Ribeira e a segunda a partir da estrada entre Carapito e Queiriz. Em ambos os casos, o acesso é apenas possível a pé ou com um veículo preparado para caminhos acidentados.
Caso circule num veículo ligeiro, deverá estacioná-lo junto ao Parque da Lameira da Ribeira ou junto à estrada entre Carapito e Queiriz.

The springs in the Serra do Pisco are a common feature. Used by shepherds, livestock and farmers, they have always been of crucial importance.
The outlet of this spring, located on a small slope next to a path, has the particularity of being built in granite, which gives it a distinctive appearance. At the same time, very fresh and clear water flows from it.
Behind it rises the Serra do Pisco and, higher up, the so-called “Talefe Pequeno”, a third-order geodetic marker. In front, you can see part of the village of Carapito, with the Regada fields in the foreground.
In August 2025, a wildfire consumed the forests of Serra do Pisco and, as a result, the landscape became less appealing. However, it is still well worth a visit.
The Cache
It consists of a relatively small container including the usual material: logbook, pen, and the explanatory geocaching stash note.
The Route
It is possible to reach the site from two opposite directions: the first from Parque da Lameira da Ribeira and the second from the road between Carapito and Queiriz. In both cases, access is only possible on foot or with a vehicle suitable for rough terrain.
If you are travelling in a regular car, you should park it near Parque da Lameira da Ribeira or by the road between Carapito and Queiriz.
