Geocache Description:

Welcome to Kincardine East.
A series of caches that takes you around the outer east side of the village of Kincardine.
Suitable for most ages and abilities and also ideal for cycling or walking with your geodog.
The route will take you from within the village, along the old Dunfermline / Culross road which now forms part of the Fife coastal path and back into Kincardine via Toll Road to lead you back to the starting point.

Good paths, pavements and tracks should mean that no wellies will be required.
The caches range from magnetic nano's through to regular lock and lock containers. Some may be suitable for swag and TB's/Geocoins but it is recommended that you bring along your tweezers for the tricky logs.
I've included a waypoint for parking and this is a good starting point for the series and also the first cache, but parking is available freely within the village.
The walk will take you next to busy roads so please use common sense and keep your Geokids and dogs safe.
After parking at the recommended spot, and grabbing the first cache, walk out to the main road (North Approach Road), turn left and walk towards Kincardine Bridge. At the other side of the pedestrian crossing you will see the entrance which takes you down to the Fife coastal path, leading you to the next caches.

While visiting Kincardine, why not take a slight detour down to the water and under the bridge to grab the 'Anchor Down' cache (GC4XTJ4). The crossing point for the railway line can be found at  N56.4.107 W003.43.369.

Kincardine East 4 - Timber

Situated near the local timber yard. Further down the road on your right is a dirt bike track popular with motorised bikes and quads during the summer months.
Although this old road may seem deserted, you occassionally meet cars either going to the few houses along here or one's that have taken a wrong turn. Please be aware and keep kids and dogs close.
Cache is large enough for TB's and swag.
