In 2014, Bournemouth Council wanted to add Geocaching to a new activity park they were creating - The Coastal Activity Park. Initially, five geocaches were given permission to be placed on the seafront.
Today, four geocaches remain, which can be found as stand-alone caches, however, you can enjoy a lovely walk along the seafront, starting at Boscombe Pier and finishing just after the Bistro Cafe in Southbourne. The location of this traditional cache will take you on a lovely walk along the seafront.
At the time of renaming this cache in October 2015, it may come as a surprise that this cache has never been muggled, making it one of my favourite placements because of the location and the high muggle activity, yet the cache blending in with its surroundings. Long may it remain for the next cacher to find.
