Ginger Binger Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Commonly known as ginger, Zingiber officinale was named by English botanist William Roscoe in the early 1800s. Ginger root is known to offer a wide array of health benefits, such as helping with circulation, nausea, inflammation, and immunity. When consumed in a high-sugar preparation, however, the primary effects can be diabetes, obesity, and dehydration.
Much in the same way, the various tools and materials we use in our day-to-day lives can either help or hinder, depending on the manner of manufacturing, usage, and disposal. Located in the (mostly) beautiful and spacious northwest corner of Jakes Branch, this cache offers a meditation on the health of both ourselves and the planet.
