Please join GoSA for a CITO Event, where we plan to clean up litter around this fascinating little pan. This area is always full of litter, and although the authorities do collect litter from time to time, they cannot really keep up.
We have obtained permission from the Glen Austin Residents Association to clean up around the pan.

Time: 09h30 to 10h30
Venue: Please see listed Co-Ordinates at the end of Douglas Road, Glen Austin, Midrand.
What will be provided:
• Dustbin bags
What you will need to bring:
• Gloves
• Comfortable walking shoes/hiking boots
(we won't be getting close to the water's edge, so no need for gum boots)
• A sharp pointy stick or metal rod
• Water to drink
• Sunhat and sunscreen
• Raincoat (in case it rains)
After the Clean Up:
Get together for a group photo.
We will also arrange another event a bit later, at the Beaulieu Bird Sanctuary approx. 10km down the road for a picnic and kuier.
