Sylvia's Mother - SCAR2014 Traditional Cache

Sylvia’s Mother was a hit for Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show in 1972.  Who can forget Shel Silverstein’s plaintive wailing in his attempts to get Sylvia on the phone.  But Sylvia’s Mother is adamant that Sylvia is leaving and “marryin’ a guy down Galveston way”.
