Llyn Bach #2 Traditional Cache

Llyn Bach is a small tidal lake in Porthmadog and is the flood control pool for the Harbour.  A walk around the lake is a short and very pleasant walk with excellent views. This is second cache to encourage a complete walk around the lake.

You can walk around the Llyn Bach in about 20minutes. The walk provides excellent views of Porthmadog, the Cob embankment carrying the Ffestiniog Railway, Traeth Mawr - the flood plain, Snowdonia`s mountains and Moel-y-Gest - the hill overlooking Porthmadog. Parking is available behind Wilkinsons (turn by the Shell garage) and can be done as a dash and grab if this is the only cache you go for.

The cache is now a 35mm pot. It is is placed for the PikesTravel in Porthmadog Makers event on 5th April.
