Beyond the fences of keeping off the beast, you will see the graceful gate of Gyokushoin玉照院. In the area called Mudo-ji valley, it is the center of the Thousand-Day Circumambulation.
獣よけの防護柵を越えると、玉照院の優美な門が見えます。このあたりは無動寺谷と呼ばれるエリアで、回峰行の拠点として知られています。玉照院のほかに、明王堂・大乗院・法曼院・建立院・弁天堂などいくつものすばらしい堂宇があります。
