So he spent about 6 months planning a big, deep sea fishing expedition to celebate the milestone.
8 guys made the trip to Marion Bay on the first weekend of March 2014. Some had travelled a long way, his Brother from as far away as Perth.
So they all arrived on the Friday & had a meal & a few soft drinks in prep for the next day.
They woke up to wind, wind & more wind. And the sea was rough, very rough!
And so it came to pass....they went caching all day. Maybe tommorrow will be better.
A few more soft drinks were consumed in the Marion Bay Tavern on the Saturday night with lots of stories about....caching.
So they woke Sunday morning - to wind, wind & more wind. And the sea was rough, very rough!
And so it came to pass....they went caching all day, again.
Lucky that 1) there was so many caches on the SYP & 2) the 4 muggles enjoyed the caching & speccy scenery.
Anyway, our home for that weekend is nearby, enjoy the view from GZ
