Geocache Description:

Holy Trinity church, Blendworth, is not yet 160 years old and therefore, as churches go, quite a young building.  The church of today is the successor to at least two former buildings which were nearby in Old Blendworth. The foundation stone was laid in 1851 and the church consecrated in 1852.

More info on the church can be found here:-

On to the cache:-

At the listed co-ords find the postbox number :- PO8 AB1

Now enter the churchyard and find the bench dedicated to the village school which was formerly located next door. It's dates are 184C-1DEF

Next go into the graveyard and find the commonwealth war grave of R Miller. His military number was 1G9H17J

The cache is a short walk away at:-

N50 5(A+B).(D-E)CF

W000 5H.JBG

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
