Geocache Description:

Located on the Frankton Arm walk/Lake Wakatipu Trail.  The closest access point is from the  carpark at the end of Bay view Road off Peninsula Road.  The track is wide with a compacted gravel surface.

If accessing the cache from this entry point take time to admire the sculpture in the garden of  the Edgar property.  The kinetic leaves are mavellous.

GZ features a stand of Pine trees with distinctive bright reddish brown bark, deeply furrowed in a jig-saw pattern.  The ground level  cache container is 50ml and disguised to blend in with the natural surroundings.

Parking is adjacent a children's playground, picnic facilities and public toilets, plus a boat launching ramp.

Make sure you replace carefully to blend in with the tree.
