Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of 9 caches, including a final bonus cache, that follow The Peregrine Path to Biblin's Bridge and onto Symonds Yat East along the south bank of the River Wye.

You are looking for a hanging bison.

As you approach this cache from Hadnock Halt, you can see up ahead to the left, Wyastone Leys, a country house estate and Grade II listed building situated near Ganarew, in the southwestern corner of The Doward.

In the woodland of Little Doward Hill above the house, to mark the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the Forestry Commission planted a pattern of trees with contrasting foliage in the shape of the letters ER. This is most visible during Spring and Autumn directly above the white house.

This series is published with the kind permission of Natural Wales and the Forestry Commission.
